Abstract

The implementation of the teaching and learning process cannot be separated from the assessment of learning outcomes. In a modern era influenced by technological developments, education has the responsibility to prepare a quality young generation for a better future for Indonesia. Teacher professionalism plays an important role in improving the quality of education. In addition to having high knowledge in subject matter, a teacher must also demonstrate superior skills in using technology, including in the process of assessing student learning outcomes. It is very important that teachers not only use technology-based learning media for material delivery, but also for evaluation. To collect data, this research uses a qualitative approach by using case study through observation with several English teachers as participants and the instruments used are individual interviews and literature review. The purpose of this study is to find out what technology is used by teachers to evaluate learning and also in the use of technology is effective or even ineffective, because as we know technology in learning will continue to develop. This study found that some teachers use technology such as google forms and quizizz, in evaluating learning. In this study it can be concluded that the use of technology as a learning evaluation tool is very effective, efficient and innovative.
